So today, I got an email that had a Gmail notice at the top that read “This email was not sent to Spam because of a filter you created” or something of the sort. Being the bright young intellectual that I am, my brain failed to connect the dots and I ended up clicking on a link that was supposed to lead me to my AdWords account when in fact I have no AdWords account and the URL wasn’t even a Google URL. I even logged in on the page it provided with my AdSense Gmail account… and then it returned me to the real AdWords page.
So I naturally went back to the email to check and freaked out when I saw the URL, went back to my AdSense Gmail and immediately changed the password. Then I realized that I hadn’t checked my AdSense in a while and logged in and WHABAM, cash. Over $100 means I get a check from Google :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D I didn’t think I’d ever get past $100 lol

Hey, so this is kind of a long stretch, but does anybody know what font the “1” is? It’s not any form of Helvetica because Helvetica’s “1” has a longer serif at the top. D: Help?
I’m not really sure what to do with this blog.
I have 12,500+ followers here and yet only a handful of people actually respond to my posts. Do people actually read what I post here, or do they follow simply to follow the blog of the person who made their theme, or did they follow by mistake because they found my link at the bottom of another blog and thought I was that person? Do you follow to get updates on themes? Would posting more often do any good? What kind of content would you like to see here? Design stuff, more photos, more long blog posts? I don’t want this place to go to waste, especially when I can reach so many people at once. What do you think?

I never write here, so I decided today I’m going to try and start posting more, even if it isn’t design-related content. It’s a new year, and I haven’t been very productive yet. I’m working on applications for art school and will also be releasing my personal blog theme in a few days. I’ll also be working on a friend’s website for the next couple of days - she’s a harpist! So today, I received this message from a kid named James. It’s still on my blog.
He asked me in a later message why it would matter if he had it early when I was going to release it anyways. I responded that I prefer to have my themes to myself for a few weeks before I release them, and that I couldn’t stop him from taking it but I would highly disapprove.
The above message I sent, then posted about him. I deleted it mistakenly because one of my Chrome extensions does this automatic delete without prompting thing, but it basically linked to his blog and said that I was disgusted because I told him I didn’t want him to and he did it anyways.
Hate him, or hate me, or laugh at the whole thing, I don’t care. I’m seriously pissed off and since he could not take a hint, I’ll have to make this loud and clear - I do not fucking like it when people take my themes, even if they promise to give me credit. I find it incredibly rude and immature, and I will make noise about it if you do. This is not being rude - in fact, I would say it’s justified.
And on that note, I’ve been getting several people who have either copied or asked to copy my themes. I thought I could handle it, but there are just too many people and I am seriously considering shutting down my free themes operation. I don’t need to make themes for people, especially when I get ungrateful ones like this one. I have a job, I have potential work as a designer, and I don’t need to deal with crap like this every day.
